Would you like to be the person on the beach that is admired for their physique rather than the unnoticeable person beside him? Take time to write down your goals and aspirations. – buy a notepad and pen just for this project. Divide a page in half down the centre and on one side write your goals i.e I want to gain 5 lbs of muscle in a month, on the other side write the reasons behind your goal or what it is you are aspiring to i.e I want to gain 5 lb of muscle in the next month so I fit my T-shirts better. By making your goals personal you will be far more likely to succeed. Also when you are at a low ebb try reading these goals out loud, by reminding yourself of the thinking behind them you are bound to find a new source of motivation.

So as you can see keeping motivated is often the key between success and failure so any tips that work are worth their weight in gold.

There has been so much hype recently about Vince Delmonte and his programs to help ‘skinny guys’ gain weight and gain muscle. So what is the truth behind this program and will it really work in helping us gain that muscle we so desire?

Well the truth is this is an excellent program that teaches you a whole new lifestyle and builds your muscles naturally rather than forcing you to depend on harmful drugs and buy expensive supplements.

You may be shocked at how forceful Vince is and his approach is certainly no-nonsense. His program is well thought out so the only thing that would prevent you from succeeding is your self!

Quick Ways To Build Muscles - 5 Tips To Help You On Your Way

We hear so much nowadays about losing weight and how we are not looking after our bodies that it is only natural that many of us are now sitting up and taking notice. However we don't just want to lose weight we want to build muscle to give us that dream physique we have been looking for. After all who find thin and puny attractive? Toned and muscular is another matter altogether! Of course the other problem is that we would all like to know quick ways to build muscles. I have listed 5 below:

1. Reps – Perform 8-12 reps on any exercise and this will mean that you are able to build up muscle as growth is stimulated if you do less than this you will find that you strength levels will improve but you will not build the muscle as quick. Any more than 12 reps is not a good idea as you wish to use the optimal amount for muscle growth not overload.

2. Sets – Stick to performing just 6-9 sets per body part you are aiming to do enough exercise to stimulate muscle growth so keep the workouts to less than 45 minutes. This way you will avoid the release of hormones (catabolic)that can actually break down muscle tissue. If you stick to the advice in item 1 this should be easily achieved.

3. Diet – When working out you are actually damaging the tissues and then having to repair them and make them grow to cope with what you are asking them to do. You will need to change your diet to enable your body to do this in the most efficient way. In particular you will need to up you protein intake. There are some excellent body building plans that you can try.

4. Water – Drinking enough water is essential for achieving peak energy and strength levels you should aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.

5. Sleep - Is one of the most important things you need when building muscle. This is because your natural release of growth hormone is at it highest during periods of sleep (hence teenagers are constantly needing sleep!) Muscle tissue will repair and grow during sleep periods so you need to ensure that you are able to have regular periods of great sleep.
